As with the earlier FD series, the Ventora was marketed as a top of the range model, featuring additional instrumentation, nylon cloth upholstery (vinyl on early models), twin halogen headlights, extra brightwork and power steering. It was the final fling for the ageing 3.3 litre straight six which offered similar performance to the VX4/90. Early 3.3 estates were badged as Victors but, from 1974 onwards these gained the Ventora name too.
